What is required to join as a Referral Realtor on your site?
We are seeking realtors across the country who specialize in short sale properties to join our network. All agents must be licensed and listed with a brokerage.
How many referrals can I expect?
It depends on how many clients are seeking to short sale their homes in your area. We recieve hundreds requests across the country daily from our customers seeking to short sale their homes. We need real estate agents all across the country to join our network.
How Do I recieve referrals?
Customers will access the agent directory and request a short sale experienced agent of their choice. You will then be notified immediately by e-mail once our client fills out their information. We also recieve calls directly from customers who we will refer to agents within our network as well.
Once I recieve a referral what do I do?
You will be notified by e-mail of the request. We then ask that you contact the our client directly and proceed with listing their home as with any other listing. We will then submit to you certain disclosures required by their lenders in order to process the short sale and our referral form.
Who negotiates the short sale with the bank or lender?
We will negotiate with the bank or lender for the client. There is no COST whatsoever for the agent or client to negotiate the short sale. The lender will pay us upon closing.
What type of marketing does ShortSaleSettlements.com provide?

How much does this program cost?
We are currently charging $29.95 a month ($179.70 six months prepaid). We also are asking for a generous 25% referral fee at closing. Remember we are negotiating the short sale on your behalf. You will not be wasting countless hours on the phone trying to reach banks. You simply list any referrals we send your way and adjust the pricing upon an approved short sale amount. Yes - The referral fee is very reasonable! We realize that many of the national companies are now charging upwards of 45 to 50% and we think this is unfair and excessive.
How do you track the referrals I receive?
The minute a client requests to work with you, our multiple platform referral systems send out an automated “Referral Update Request” to you within 3 days. The request will come in the form of an e-mail with a link you click on to fill in a quick 30 second update. This update is auto logged and each 30 days thereafter, you (and our client) receive an update request to provide us the latest status. This process continues through short sale approval and finally closing.
How long is my commitment?
Listings are paid in advance for 6 months and are automatically billed every 6 months thereafter - you may cancel at any time prior to your automatic renewal dates.
